Online Profile
Grundon is a leading supplier of integrated waste management solutions. Our mixed recyclables collections accept cardboard, paper, plastic bottles, steel and aluminium cans and mixed coloured glass bottles and jars.

Our new Energy from Waste plant offers a sustainable and cost effective alternative to landfill for non-recyclable waste. In addition we provide collection and treatment services for hazardous and clinical waste streams.

We operate from collection depots at Banbury, Cheltenham, Leatherhead, Reading, Slough and Wallingford, three of which also include Materials Recovery Facilities. Grundon provides all of the standard container types, including waste wheelers, front end loaders, skips and Rolonofs.

Grundon Energy from Waste Facility
As a leading supplier of integrated waste management solutions, Grundon was quick to recognise the significance of EfW, both as an alternative to diminishing landfill void and as a sustainable option for energy recovery. Energy from Waste will complement Grundon’s existing Material Recovery Facilities for recycling, offering the Best Practical Environmental Option (BPEO) for minimisation and treatment of residual waste.

Grundon Material Recovery Facility (MRF)
We have 4 different Material Recovery Facilities (MRF's) at four of our depots including Colnbrook, Ewelme, Beenham and Leatherhead. Our MRF's each have an annual capacity in excess of 100,000 tonnes per annum. The plants process up to 90% of the paper, cardboard, plastic & glass bottles, steel aluminium passing through them for subsequent recycling. The major advantage of the Grundon system is that waste producers do not need to segregate their recyclables prior to collection.
