With facilities and estates managers having more and more inflence and responsibility for the energy management of their building, the demand for education, advice and support in the area is growing year on year. In 2011 50% of visitors to Facilities Show had responsibility for energy management or supply.

With the help of the FMA’s Young Managers’ Forum committee, FMX will name 40 individuals from a new cast of up and coming players set to shake up FM.
The FMX 40 under forty is not an award or competition, nor is it a league table, and there is no rank order. It is a showcase for young talent – a who’s who of the up-and-coming professionals in the sector. Every year there are obvious names that people expect to see, virtual unknowns who deserve to be known, and newcomers whose potential has been spotted.
Who FMX are looking for?
Simply, anyone in the early stages of their career who looks set to shake up FM. We are interested in people already making an impact on the industry, but we also want to hear about people who have potential to make an influential contribution to the sector and its supply chain.

Details of the final 40 will be published in our May issue, and the presentation and discussion about career development, training and young talent will be held at the Facilities Show that month courtesy of exhibition organiser UBM.
