2016’s show saw visitors able to further develop specialisms and discover products in facilities security, fire, safety and field service management. They were free to discover suppliers for perimeter security and access control, as well as visit IOSH or NEBOSH stands and explore opportunities. Plus attend a host of informative sessions discussing core FM issues on top of safety legislation, fire door installations and IoT technology solutions.
New to 2016, the Facilities Society Fair was the perfect avenue for visitors to expand their professional network by creating contacts within networking groups including Thursday FM, Property Affiliates, The Hill Club and FM North.
BIFM Careers Zone
Focusing on helping facilities managers and their team’s progress, FMs we able to meet with the recruitment and HR departments of international TFMs and gain insight to courses, accreditation, best practices when visiting the BIFM Careers Zone.
The opportunity to gain hands-on experience and source new products, is a high priority for FMs. Facilities Show 2016 launched the New Products Trail, guiding visitors around the floor highlighting all the new and innovative products on display across the show.
We also celebrated gender diversity on day 3 with #SHE1000 as both men and women from industries which protect and manage people and buildings came together to learn and network.
