Facilities Show 2017 provided visitors with an incredible complementary seminar and workshop programme. Continuing the success of 2016 it focused on ‘real world’ talks delivered by FMs, as well as practical and strategic presentations by a few hand-picked industry experts.
There were two large seminar theatres on the exhibition floor, all with different content on each day of the show. Plus, back by popular demand was the BIFM Careers Zone, which was available for those looking for CPD training, management skills or career opportunities
The Protection & Management Series Inspirational Speakers also returned for 2017.
The Keynote Theatre welcomed many of our most high profile speakers and featured strategic, topical debates. Never before has the Facilities Show had such a big theatre, and seminars ranged from ‘impact of workplace design on wellbeing and productivity’ and ‘FM apprenticeships and skills’.
Facilities Management Theatre
This theatre featured seminars and topics on a wide range of topics in Facilities Management. One session not to be missed was the case study from the University of Bradford, which has 3 buildings with BREEAM ‘outstanding’ ratings, and a Passivhaus one too. Additionally, the theatre hosted ‘lunch & learns’ each day, covering ‘work on the move’, ‘BIM’ and ‘FM technology’.
