Following a hugely successful in-person comeback in 2022, Facilities Show, returns to ExCeL London from 16-18 May this year with a packed expo hall, topical seminar programme, inspirational speakers and groundbreaking innovation.
The UK's most important facilities event, Facilities Show welcomes thousands of occupational health, safety and wellbeing professionals.
Learn about innovation, legislation and best practice, including formal and informal networking opportunities and over 100 exhibiting companies and key associations.
Sustainability at Facilities Show
The show’s organiser, Informa Markets, pledges to be the most sustainable event organiser in the world and is committed to becoming carbon neutral by 2025.
“Informa have a real focus on sustainability and making sure that the environmental impact of the event itself is as reduced as it possibly can be.
“Sustainability is something that is clearly hugely relevant to the FM role, and whilst there are lots of things that FM's are grappling with and dealing with on an ongoing basis, I think it's fair to say that ESG for most FM professionals is pretty high on the agenda,” said Chris, Event Director.

Smart Building Immersive Experience
In association with master systems integrator, Vanti.
The Smart Building Immersive Experience allows visitors to take a walking tour of a full-size replica smart office and see how the latest tech innovation brings together facilities management, security, fire-safety, and wellbeing in a unique smart building environment.
“As well as the smart office, we will also be running a special clinic for facilities professionals that are in the early stages of their smart buildings journey.
Whether it's looking at a new build or a retrofit project, we will have experts on hand that they can consult with and understand what the best solutions might be,” said Chris.
“We’re really pleased to have the Smart Building Immersive Experience back again this year, it is always one of our most popular features."
Smart Building Tech Talks
These bite sized Tech Talks feature presentations on the latest innovations in workplace technology.
“The Smart Buildings Tech Talks Theatre is a theatre dedicated to the technology that goes into workplace and smart buildings projects.
The sessions cover everything from PIR sensors, security products, AloT, Zero Carbon Tech and more,” said Chris.
Converged Security Centre
The Converged Security Centre, in partnership with Advancis, is collaborating with several vendor partners to showcase the benefits of open, integrated security management platforms.
Genuine security threats will be simulated, such as unidentified packages and terror threats to demonstrate how the worlds of physical and digital security converge to tackle the challenge.
Visitors can see, hear and experience the technology in real-time and meet with the experts behind the technology.

Seminar Programme
Visitors can stay on top of the future of the workplace and the latest innovations in sustainability, workplace tech and government legislation.
With inspirational speakers, this year’s seminar sessions on the show floor will cover the biggest topics affecting the FM profession.
- Day one (May 16th) will focus on the environment with sessions covering topics such as Carbon Net Zero and Scope Three Emissions as well as case studies sharing sustainable best practice.
- Day two (May 17th) will focus on social responsibility with topics including social mobility and DE&I.
- Day three (May 18th) is all about smart buildings and the corporate real estate with sessions on how to harness building data effectively, tech that’s built around the user experience, digital twins and introducing the IoFMT – a project looking at identifying all aspects of FM Tech and how they connect to each other.”

The launch of the brand-new Elizabeth Line means visitors can now access ExCeL direct from as far away as Reading, Heathrow and Shenfield.
“The Elizabeth Line is now open and visitors can travel to ExCeL from central London in under 13 minutes, and direct from Heathrow in 45.
The beauty of the Elizabeth line is that all you really have to do is look for that purple line, which runs through so many of the major stations. It’s about the simplicity for me,” said Chris.
